WHERE I COME FROM
I was born in Lakeland, Florida in 1982 to two hard working parents. From the age of 2 years old, I was raised in north Lakeland (Kathleen) where I learned to hunt and fish at a young age. My father was self employed as a septic contractor whom I worked with every summer from the age of 5 until high school when I started detailing cars and providing landscape services to Polk County residences. I have never been one to shy away from hard work, especially when the effort exerted yields better results.
EDUCATION
I graduated Santa Fe Catholic High School in 2000 and continued my education at the University of Florida (UF). After completing my freshman year at UF I transferred to the University of South Florida (USF) where I graduated with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, a masters in Civil Engineering, and a masters in Engineering Management.
CAREER
During my undergraduate time at USF, I was employed by Proctor and Gamble for a summer internship which gave me immense exposure to many talented people within a Fortune 100 company. A year later, I started Right Trailers, Inc. in Lakeland to provide trailer sales and repair services to local contractors, landscapers, and home owners. I continued to operate and grow Right Trailers with the help of my father, family members, and great staff while in college. Post graduation, I began my career as a full time professional engineer in civil and environmental consulting. I practiced more than 15 years as a civil engineer throughout the state of Florida. Right Trailers is now my full time obligation and has continued to grow to six locations in four states employing more than 40 team members.
